As every year in March, book lovers from all over the world will meet in Leipzig this weekend. From 21 to 24 March, the Leipzig Book Fair invites you to browse, marvel and discover.
This year, the guest country of the Book Fair is the Czech Republic. Around 60 authors and artists from the Czech Republic will be on site to present their works to the fair’s guests.
And, of course, fans of manga, comics, anime & co. will get their money’s worth again this year. The Manga Comic-Con will take place together with the Book Fair. Cosplay competitions, gaming zones and workshops are only a small part of the varied programme that visitors can look forward to.
If that’s not enough for you or if you don’t make it to the fair, don’t worry. The reading festival “Leipzig reads” traditionally takes place together with the Leipzig Book Fair. In the next few days, everything will revolve around books, even off the fairgrounds. More than 3000 readings and events will take place at 550 places in and around Leipzig.
