The following data protection policy describes the type and extent of personal information collected and used by the responsible provider of this website. Your personal data (e.g. title, name, house address, e-mail address, phone number, bank details, credit card number) are processed by us only in accordance with the provisions of German data privacy laws. The following provisions describe the type, scope and purpose of collecting, processing and utilizing personal data. This data privacy policy applies only to our web pages. If links on our pages route you to other pages, please inquire there about how your data are handled in such cases.

Inventory data

(1) Your personal data, insofar as these are necessary for this contractual relationship (inventory data) in terms of its establishment, organization of content and modifications, are used exclusively for fulfilling the contract. For goods to be delivered, for instance, your name and address must be relayed to the supplier of the goods.
(2) Without your explicit consent or a legal basis, your personal data are not passed on to third parties outside the scope of fulfilling this contract. After completion of the contract, your data are blocked against further use. After expiry of deadlines as per tax-related and commercial regulations, these data are deleted unless you have expressly consented to their further use.

Provision of chargeable services

For the provision of chargeable services we request additional information such as name, address, nationality, telephone number, e-mail and payment details. To protect the security of your data during transfer we use state-of-the-art encryption processes (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.

Comment function

If users leave comments in the blog (function currently deactivated), in addition to these details the time of their creation and the user name previously selected by the website visitor are saved. This is for our security,as we may be held liable for illegal content on our website, even where this is created by users.

E-mail, contact, enquiry or booking forms

If you contact us via e-mail, contact, enquiry or booking form, the details that you provide shall be saved for the purpose of processing the enquiry/booking as well as for possible follow-up questions. We wish to point out that in spite of encryption the transfer of data on the internet (e.g. via e-mail) may display security loopholes. The seamless protection of data from third-party access is not possible.
The use by third parties of contact details published in the scope of the legal notice obligation to send advertising and information material that is not expressly requested is hereby expressly objected to. The operators of the sites reserve the express right to take legal steps in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as via spam mail or advertising catalogues.

Rating-Tool

For the collection of evaluations for the quality assurance of our services we use the services from Customer Alliance, through which we write to our guests once after their stay. There only your first name, nationality and e-mail address will be stored, which are not used for any further may be used for any purpose. Use of Google Maps

We use the “Google Maps” component of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter “Google.” Google sets a cookie in order to process the user configuration and data when the page with the integrated “Google Maps” component is displayed. As a general rule, this cookie is not deleted by closing the browser, but rather expires after a certain time, as long as it is not previously manually deleted by you. If you do not agree with this processing of your data, you may choose to deactivate the “Google Maps” service and thereby prevent the transfer of data to Google. To do this, you must deactivate the Java Script function in your browser. Inclusion of services and content of third parties

Our offer also includes content, services and performance of third parties. This includes, for example, maps provided by Google Maps, videos from YouTube and visual material from other websites. To ensure that this data is accessed and displayed in the browser of the user, the transfer of the IP address is required. In other words, the provider (hereinafter referred to as “third-party provider”) notes the IP address of the respective user.
Although we make efforts to use only third-party providers that require the IP address solely to deliver content, we have no influence over whether the IP address is possibly saved. In this case, this procedure serves statistical purposes, amongst others. Should we have knowledge that the IP address is saved, we shall instruct our users of this accordingly.

Web analysis with Matomo

Our website uses Matomo(former Piwik), a web analytics open-source software. Matomo saves cookies onto your device which allows us to analyse how you use the website. For this purpose, the information generated by the cookie (including your abbreviated IP address) is transmitted and saved onto our server so that we can optimise our web pages. As all IP addresses are immediately anonymised in the process, your user identity remains anonymous. The data collected by the cookie is not shared with third parties. You may choose to deactivate cookies by blocking them via your web browser. However, this may prevent you from taking full advantage of all the features offered on this website.

If you do not wish to have your session data saved and analysed, you can retract your consent on cookie storage and usage with a mouse click at any time. In this case, Matomo places an “opt-out cookie” onto your browser which prevents it from collecting any data during your visit to our website. Please note: If you choose to delete all of the cookies in your browser, the Matomo opt-out cookie will also be erased. This means you will have to reactivate the opt-out cookie during your next session.

Use of Google-Adwords

For purposes of promotion, our website also employs the Google ad tool “Google-Adwords”. As part of this, our website employs the analysis service “Conversion-Tracking” from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google“. If you access our site by way of a Google ad, a cookie is placed on your computer. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser downloads and stores to your computer. These so-called “conversion cookies” cease to be active after 30 days and are not used to identify you personally. If you visit certain pages of our website while the cookie is still active, we and Google know that you, as user, have clicked on ads placed on Google and were redirected to our site. Google uses the information obtained through “conversion cookies” to compile statistics for our website. These statistics tell us the total number of users who have clicked on our ad as well as which pages of our site were then accessed by each user. However, neither we nor other advertisers who use “Google-Adwords” receive any kind of information that can be used to personally identify users.

Your right to information regarding, correction, blocking, deletion of and objection to the information

We observe the principles of data avoidance and data minimisation. We only save your personal details so long as this is required to achieve the purposes named here or as foreseen in the statutory data retention periods. Following the ending of the respective purpose or lapsing of these periods the corresponding data is routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory requirements.

Similarly, you have the right to correction, blocking or, apart from the data required for processing the transaction, deletion of your personal data. To ensure that the blocking of data may be accounted for at all times, this data must be stored for control purposes in a blocking file. If such an obligation exists, we shall block your data on request. You may undertake amendments or the revocation of consent via corresponding notification with effect for the future.

Amendment of our data protection terms

We reserve the right to amend this data protection declaration from time to time, to ensure that it corresponds to the latest legal requirements or to include a change in our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. for the introduction of new services.
