From 28 to 30 June this year’s Full Force Festival will take place in Ferropolis. That means on the last weekend of June it will get really noisy between the old coal excavators of the former opencast mine.
Around 50 kilometres north of Leipzig, fans of metal, hardcore and punk will get their money’s worth for three days. Since the first event in 1994, the Full Force Festival has grown into the biggest metal festival in East Germany. Around 60 bands will be performing on three stages this weekend. Well-known headliners like Limp Bizkit, Parkway Drive, Arch Enemy or Knorkator will be playing on the main stage.
Furthermore, the cross-festival project [FAIR]OPOLIS will take place for the first time this year. [FAIR]OPOLIS is an open space for tolerance, sustainability and creativity. Various partners, e.g. associations and NGOs, offer an exciting addition to the festival bustle with information and sales stands or workshops.
