Frequently Asked Questions
From 01.04.2023, the city of Leipzig will levy a charge, a so-called “guest tax” on overnight stays. 5% of the accommodation price must then be paid in addition to the accommodation price. Exceptions apply to children and young people up to the age of 18. In addition, severely disabled persons + their accompanying persons are exempt. The amount is calculated per person not per room. Breakfast is not part of the accommodation price and therefore does not play a role in the calculation of the guest tax.

Our hostel rooms are cheaper than the apartments but simpler as well. Discounts for children: 0-3 year olds sleep for free, 4-10 year olds pay half the overnight price. Towels are not included.
It is important to us that everyone can afford our breakfast. It goes from 7 – 11 am and includes: Coffee, juice, milk, tea, rolls, bread, toast, honey, chocolate spread, jam, butter, corn flakes, musli, cheese and salami.
We are not suitable for assemblers and construction workers. We are certainly the wrong address for groups only consisting of male guests who e.g. want to celebrate a stag night. We are no party hostel and we will turn away drunk guests for sure.
