Highfield Festival in Großpösna

New location this year! But the Highfield Festival proved to be a recipe for a great music, a sleepless weekend and the closest you get to feel like a groupie after listening to the 6th band in a row.

For the first time the festival takes place at Störmthaler See near Großpösna near Leipzig from Aug 20th-22nd. We name just a couple of bands from the lineup: Blink 182, Placebo, Madsen, Fettes Brot, Billy Talent, Monster Magnet, Bela B. y Los Helmstedt and our favourites Karamelo Santo from Argentina. Yep, it would be awesome to have a ticket...

Bachfest Leipzig June 11-20 2010

"Bach - Schumann - Brahms" - this year's Bachfest is addressing 3 leading names of Germany's musical history. Johann Sebastian Bach wrote most of his works in Leipzig and worked as the cantor of the "Thomaskirche" from 1723 till his death in 1750. Every spring the Bachfest is held in Leipzig presenting some of his work under changing mottos. This year's festival is also honouring the 2 composers Schumann and Brahms, the  two leading protagonists of the Bach reception in the nineteenth century.
