Arrival by train or bus

You will arrive at Leipzig’s modern main station, the largest terminal station in Europe. Leave the station, turn right, walk along Tröndlinring, and after 700m you will stand in front of our hostel location.

Alternatively you can reach our hostel by tram. The town’s main tram stop is directly in front of the station. Take line 1 (towards Lausen), line 4 (towards Gohlis), line 7 (towards Böhlitz-Ehrenberg) or line 12 (towards Gohlis-Nord). Get off the tram at the next stop. You will be able to see our hostel from the tram stop.

No idea how to get to Leipzig? Just check: www.omio.co.uk or www.flixbus.com. The long-distance bus terminal is located right next to Leipzig’s main station.

Arrival by car

For Leipzig you need the green emission sticker!!!
Drive towards the city centre. No matter which direction you are coming from, you will at some point meet the inner ring road. Drive around the ring road until you reach Tröndlinring. Here, the Ranstädter Steinweg branches off from the ring road. You can’t miss our hostel, which is situated right on the corner of Jacobstraße. Print a city-map  of Leipzig (PDF).

There are short-term parking spaces (fee required, max. 3 hours) directly in front of our hostel as well as in the “Natural History Museum” car park, which is only a few metres away on foot. Saturday + Sunday parking is possible without time limit. For longer parking periods we recommend the parking garage at the zoo (up to 8 hours = 8,00 EUR, up to 24 hours = 12,00 EUR), about 600 meters from the hostel or the parking garage central station west side (daily price 7,00 EUR, overnight 14,00 EUR) which is about 800 meters from our hostel.
